The St. Paul Farmers’ Market is just two blocks away from my place in the Lowertown neighborhood of St. Paul, MN. The market was established in 1854 by the St. Paul Growers’ association and is the longest-running farmers’ market in the state according to the market’s website, stpaulfarmersmarket.com
During a Minnesota spring there are said to be several phases of the season (all the way from pre-spring, to return to winter, early spring, return to winter part 2 and finally final spring). At this time of year the market understandably has a more limited selection compared to the summer and fall months, but even today, with just a small crowd, you can see there were all sorts of sites to be seen, both food and people. I hope you enjoy the photos I took of the wonderful St. Paul Farmers’ Market.
